Upstate NY, and Lake Placid

Lake Placid was neato! Hard to believe a small town like that could host 2 Olympic Games. it must have been a zoo. We saw the Miracle on Ice venue, and rode our bikes on the Olympic oval. I forgot they still skated outside in 1980. We took the chair lift to the ski jump and watched the freestyle skiers practice for a while.
